So you want to try CrossFit but you are not sure what to do. No Worries- you can try it out with us at no charge. Here is what you need to do:

  • Step 1.

    Fill out our information form below so we can get you into one of our free Foundation classes.
  • Step 2.

    Call ahead to schedule a time to attend a foundation class, 336-971-0089.
  • Step 3.

    Arrive about 10 minutes early and be ready to work out. We will spend a piece of the class talking about the methodology and the other part working out.

GET STARTED PAGE- FOUNDATIONSHere are some common misconceptions about CrossFit:

1.   We are all crazy and CrossFit is a cult.   CrossFit Greensboro is a community of people that share the belief that health is an important piece of your life and that we all should strive to be our best.    The members of CrossFit Greensboro support each other in reaching their individual goals and the coaches are passionate about helping the members.

2.  You need to be in shape to do CrossFit- ANYONE can do CrossFit!    We have over 15 coaches trained to scale workouts so that they are appropriate for  each person’s individual level and abilities.  We have members that have never done anything fitness related in their lives to high level professional athletes and military operators.

3.   You can get hurt doing CrossFit.   You can also get hurt running, playing basketball, picking up a box, or anything in life.    CrossFit Greensboro trains people to reach their peak physical shape in the minimal amount of time.   Our coaches are great at scaling and working with athletes with previous injuries.  We can work around whatever life has thrown your way.

4.   All CrossFit gyms are the same.   CrossFit Greensboro was the first CrossFit gym in Greensboro and one of the first in the Triad.  We have over 15 coaches and 2 locations with well over 100 years of fitness and coaching experience between all the coaches.    Our coaches vary from being certified strength and conditioning coaches, endurance coaches, USA weigthlifting coaches, mobiltiy coaches, and gymnastics coaches.     We have a wealth of knowledge and varied experiences to bringing you the highest level of training in the area.   We have trained coaches for 5 other gyms with many of those being in our area.
